I are not an english major but "43% of the time it flown" is bad and can not be equated to "43% of the time at some point". All the trips have blocked in late 100% of the time at "some point".

How about this pair:
#208 and 276These pairings are of the ‘slingshot’ design. We have agreed with the company that a reset should be given within one duty period on either side of the turnaround point. We disagree with the company’s position that a reset in CDG resets the starting point from which the slingshot point is determined.
50+ hours of layover in CDG and that's not enough???? But there's no problem with a week of am hubturning????
I'm not saying I don't support the SIG, but it looks like the some of these disputes are off base. Maybe I'm wrong, but look at what's left in open time, only the stuff that nobody wants to fly.

OK, so it was disputed before with the old times but then went to non-disputed but still blocked in late 43% of the time. Now with the "new" times, all the sudden this is disputed and blamed on the 43% late figure???
If it's too tough for some guys, call in fatigued.

BlueJuice,
Are you really this unintelligent? Whose team are you on anyway? Some pairings aren't disputable because of past history. Some become not disputable because people fly them. Either way, supporting the SIG by not flying DPs makes all of our lives better and safer. If you can't understand that, then you aren't smart enough to be a pilot. Period.
You have a choice: Either support the team or don't. Which is it?

Bluejuice--
Make any argument you want, but the point is not the ENTIRE trip -- it is the particular sequence. Why? Because the company always puts lipstick on the pig until it is no longer eligible for dispute - thus drawing in the independent contractors who will take a better week for a worse career. Your turn..

Dude, come on. Really, do you think I don't understand. This isn't the military, people have the right to question what's going on, especially in the current state of the union.
And thanks for your ultimatum, which means absolutely nothing. You friggin guys think that everything is black and white all the time, either with us or against us. Get a grip. Feels like a communist regime.
Read some of my previous posts and see what my take is on DP flyers jacka$$.

Right, unlike the military we can negotiate our position, but not if people can't get on the same page. Our scheduling section was grossly derailed during negotiations due to people picking up DPs. No leverage with the company to change hard parameters if guys will just fly them anyway.
There are plenty of things I'm unhappy with the union about, but be smart about how you display your displeasure. You might be doing more harm than good, which is what you do when you don't stand 100% behind the SIG on this one.
Jacka$$, I've been called worse...just not today.

If people constantly fly these things, why do we continue to follow the same useless approach? Why are we just standing back arguing and acting like children over something that will never change for the good?
I'm all for supporting a better lifestyle for everyone at Fedex, but I have the right to ask questions and get answers for things that don't seem right, unintelligent or not.
And yes, it peaves me off when people junior are getting far better schedules with no repercussions or afterthought.

The purpose of disputing it is that this error rate level is pretty high, and worth doing something about. Unless you're OK with routinely working 15 hour days for the length of your trip.
If the company had this percentage of late deliveries on P1 shipments, bluejuice, we'd all be out looking for new jobs.
