UPS Hiring
#31
I was curious if it helps to be from and live in SDF? I am quickly approaching a 1000 pic and was starting to dig up all my old contacts to get the recommendations rolling. I truly have always wanted to work for UPS and even pasted up an opportunity to work for another major because I want to work at UPS. I didn't want to leave my current job without a 1000pic. Any thoughts from the brown fliers?

I have a question for ya'll...
Is it true that cargo pilots tend to burn out, or age faster than other pilots because they fly at night all the time?
One more thing...
What can brown do for me?

Craig,.
I will not tell you who I am, but I do respect your opinion, although I strongly disagree with it. I apologize for making disparaging remarks to you, I just think you have lost perspective on how good you have it here. Everyone I have ever dealt with on a one-to-one level at UPS has actually attempted to make this a better place. But a lot of that responsibility lies with you and your attitude. You yourself said you are 41. You would not be a Captain flying internationally at another major airline making the money you make, so be grateful for what you have.

You must be a newbie or an idiot to not recognize what hjp has contributed to this group. Just because he is younger than most cpts doesn't mean he doesn't realize how lucky he is to be in the position he is in. That doesn't change the facts that our benevolent employer doesn't care a rat's ass about any of us personally and will take potshots at us individually (like CW) whenever they can. As a whole they don't care, but individually they are very vindicative and petty.
Maybe in a few years you will realize how good you have it here as well as how some people will always hold it against you. I have js with CW many times and a more professional pilot you will not find.
Wake up and smell the coffee....
