1 Just free time off.

2 16 days + option for 2. 64 hours for the 16. 3.56 hours extra for working days 17 and 18. No you don’t know if they will use you. I haven’t worked an override day yet.

3 If they use you on an off day (not one of your scheduled 18 days) then those are the min pay you get for days 1, 2 & 3.

4 Rare.

3. What is the $703/$803/$903 day off pay? When does that come into play?

4. How often would one say that you surpass the 64 hour guarantee?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

If such a program existed, you asking for info on a public forum probably pre-excluded you from participating.

Default Updated Post CBA Info

Gents,

Some great information on here, thanks to all who have contributed. I have a few questions about things that may or may not have changed in the last few months with the new CBA so just looking to get some updated info.

1. I saw on another thread that you guys have HC with Cigna, is that still the case? Anyone willing to throw out rates for the "good" plan for a wife and 1 kid?

2. Growth/Job security....I am new to the AMCI side of the industry. I have seen on other threads that there may be a decline in the Pax charter market. Are there any "realistic" rumors of fleet/flying growth? Curious is you guys feel pretty secure or if there is worry of things going the way of say World Airways?

3. Realistic Upgrade Time on both fleets. I assume the upgrades will slow down with the new CBA due to more hiring the last few months and possibly less attrition. Does anyone have a rough guess what upgrade will look like for say a late 2018 hire.

4. Business Class DH.....I know it's not super important but having done a fair amount of international economy travel, it's definitely worth consideration. Just curious if post CBA, you guys are seeing may DHs where Business is not available.....I would assume it's pretty rare to be booked up until they do gate upgrades or all the non revs get the last seats.

5. Lastly....is there anywhere to be able to view a copy of the new CBA.

Thanks again, Cheers

How easy is it to get a split line on the 777 after checkride?

Also, does the company provide a cell phone or any thing like that for international travel?

August B-777 FO lines. 21 bid lines and 14 have split schedules. That being said, being on the bottom of the bidding seniority it is possible with a split line this month could possibly turn into 28 days or more straight days out on the road in the next month. Your on the bottom, so who knows what you will get awarded.

Phone. Your on your own with a phone, but it's not required to have an international plan. It does make it easier to have one though. Some people just use the wireless in the hotels to hook their phone to a network.

You can afford an international plan. Or just use something like WhatsApp when you get to the hotel.

Thanks Heavy Driver. I can handle being gone 16 days in a row but just prefer a split line. Hoping I don’t get stuck with back to back lines and on the road for 32 days.

T-Mobile is what I’d say the majority use. Unlimited text and data everywhere. Usually 20c a minute for talk. However with WiFi calling you can call free.
