Default Omni Air to Legacy - Possible?

Hello guys. I am just thinking about the career path I would like to take in the future. I am hoping to join Ameriflight. From Ameriflight I could be able to get into Omni (not guaranteed), but my long term goal may be to get into a legacy airline. Going from Ameriflight to Omni, I wouldn't ever have any time at any regionals. I've heard people say though that the legacies usually want to take people from the regionals. So I was wondering how easily Omni pilots (regardless if they have any regional hours) can get into legacy airlines? About how many years could it be good for a pilot to stick with Omni before applying for some legacy lines? For those of you at Omni do you see Omni as your end game or hope to eventually move to another airline?

Default Work Schedules at Omni

How are work schedules currently at Omni? I saw the monthly guarantee is 64 hours and the average is 12 to 14 days off. Would anyone be willing to post one or their schedules? Thanks.

This month I'm off the first week. On short & Long call RSV the first two days, then have a 16 day trip. 9 flights in those 16 days. The rest are deadhead positioning days, or reserve days in hotels in various cities around the world. Then I'm off the last week of the month.

You'll fly anywhere from 20-50 hours a month on average currently it seems. Some much less, and some much more.... it's just the average.

There are those out there who volunteer their days off and are getting used and making bank.
Would you say the same concept (volunteering days off and making bank) currently applies in the 777?

Does anyone know how many retirements their are in the near future at OMNI? What is the attrition rate looking like recently?

There is a small handful of mandatory retirements in the next couple of years.

I am near the very bottom and moved up 4 spots in July and one this month.

Omni has a young pilot group. Retirement over the next 3 years is only around 15 pilots plus or minus a couple. Pilots are still leaving for the big 5 if given the opportunity, but the little 3 or 4 airline companies, pilots are choosing to leave based on seniority position.

Is that just straight PIC time or does it have to be turbine?

Straight PIC time, unless they have updated their minimums within the last 3 months.
