Does the 777 have split lines? Also is there much home reserve on the 777?

777 class just started a few days ago too. New hires and a few upgrades in it.

We used to sit long call reserve at home all the time. It seems like recently this has gone away. Now generally you will get used, which is fine, or shipped out to sit call closer to an airplane. Not sure how sitting pilots in BWI or SEA or AFW in a hotel is any more efficient or cost effective. I guess they feel a bit more secure having pilots close by. It sure was nice during a slow period to spend time at home on long call. It would be interesting to see the numbers proving that one way or the other is better or worse.

And yes there usually are split lines to be had.

How much flying is the 777 doing in a year? Is it domestic, international or both?

I interviewed and received an offer for the 777. Class date is March 23rd and I’m really excited about the opportunity with Omni. Been trying since 2017 to get in the door.

can anyone tell me about the CBT’s? Should I try to get them done before class? Do them all except aircraft systems, saving that one for class?

Things I should consider before class starts?

Thanks in advance.
