Well, I don't know if it was epic really, but to me it was a pretty good adventure!

Heard anything about class dates? Last week I heard it was the end of April to early May (they are still working it out). That really stands up to what I was told before too. So we're still on track!

There is a new Ad for B767 and DC10 F/O's on Climbto350. Minimums listed are 2,000 TT and 1,000 PIC with ATP written passed.

It was there this morning, I went back to look at it again and the ad was gone.

This has been on their site for a while:

https://www.omniairintl.com/job_details.asp?JID=263

The "apply for this position" link at the bottom will link you to a recruitment email address where you can submit your information. What's listed is also what was posted on the link from climbto350 which has been removed. Good luck.

Did you hear two classes running again in that timeframe? One for each aircraft?

This wait on a class date is agonizing, especially with all the uncertanties that take their toll on the airline industry. I'm legitimately concerned that higher oil prices could put the brakes on a lot of expansion plans for many carriers, Omni included.

Default Initial Training

I am in the pool at Omni. Interviewed on February 14th and was hired. Now, like many I've read on this thread, am waiting on a class date. After the interview was complete, I was given a disk and told to study FCOMs. However, I'm not sure for which plane to study for. I was hired on the Boeing so, my question is: which plane is the initial training on, the 75 or 76? Can anyone who is in the March class shed a little light in my direction?

Wow. We weren't given anything after our interview. We just took the pee test and fingerprinting then went to the airport.

Nope, they didn't mention how many classes OR type (and since I am "cooperate / graduate" type of guy ... I asked no further questions.
