TallFlyer: Omni picks people for classes based upon needs at the time of hiring. They will likely tell you which aircraft when they offer you a class date. Do not defer for another aircraft, as it could be months before another class. QOL is similar, however the 767 goes to more destinations. The 777 pilots more often run into landing currency issues due to heavy crewing and longer legs, but for the most part they do similar things. I believe they are both Polar qualified now.

Also, they hire single pilot freight guys? Like Metro or 1900 pilots?

As I understand it, a sim to reset landing currency will follow one of two paths depending on whether currency has expired or not. It is in writing somewhere, but right now I lack the initiative to track it down. If is prior to expiration, only landings are required. If post expiration you will need to demonstrate a v1 cut with a single engine hand flown ILS (maybe to a missed approach) and an ILS to the lowest minimums for which you are trained. That being said, in either case if you go in unprepared thinking it is going to be a gimme, that will quickly become apparent, it will become a jeopardy event and your day will go downhill rapidly. It has happened.

Awesome crews at Omni (both FA's and Pilots). Great int'l wide body experience, never a dull moment. Looking for intl experienced guys...more a/c rumored.
