Not to worry. I'm sure teamsters 1224; their little p*ss ant attorney and JP, the architect of the POS contract will come to the rescue of those involuntarily junior assigned to purgatory for three months. Ya, right....

I'm gone now, but the issue I had was when they came up with garbage like this 90 day bolivia TDY. I was getting junior assigned to 30 day trips and what happens when an airline calls you on day 3 for an interview in a week and a half (or with at least one major, less than a week sometimes.) A sick call won't help you then...

By p*ss ant attorney, I assume you are talking about PR. Just so you know PR is a damn good attorney and nice guy, who is very knowledgeable and professional. He is not afraid to go toe to toe with the company to protect pilots. Also, I am almost 100% sure that JP was not involved in the negotiations of this POS contract. While this is one of the worst CBA's I have ever seen, you have to remember that at least 51% of this pilot group (or those that were here at the time) voted "yes" for it and now we are stuck with it.

Please don't take this is I am a cheerleader for the 1224 because I am not, but PR is a good guy who works hard to help us.

JP wasn't the guy selling the CBA at the road shows as if it was gold. Go chat with CC.

If you want to chat with CC then call the Teamsters cause they hired him after he was furloughed.

I wonder if there's any chance Asiana might consider using Omni for 777 ACMI lift after the tragic loss of their airplane? I can't imagine with the global demand for those airplanes, where they'd be able to replace that lift? ...just a thought...

The Exco was up there recently and the company told us the same thing as last time, they will have a staffing meeting soon and let us know.

Sorry its not the news you were hoping for, but that's all we know as of now.

I'll support that statement 100%. That individual is very dedicated to labor law and to his clients, and he's very good. He's also inherently honest, which is a refreshing change from what one generally expects of an attorney. He's very strict on his moral and ethical stands; he won't violate them for you, or for the union, and he doesn't do shady lawyering. I know him quite well, and can vouch for his character without hesitation.

Thanks! Just getting antsy with my one year stay in the pool coming up mid-October. I'm in the middle of getting a WIA-funded A320 Type right now; it would be superb timing if I get a call soon after my check ride. I'm not looking forward to the alternative...
