Omni Air

well lets see per month
OAI 12 yr CA 170 @ 60 hrs = 10,200
World 12 yr CA 147 @ 62 = 9,114
North American 12 yr CA 137 @ 65 = 8,840
Atlas 767 12 yr CA 170 @ 62 = 10,540
OAI is close to Atlas and above the others and I know Atlas has a trip rig
and I think World and NA does also but just basic numbers are close
and I know I am just comparing 12 year CAs pay but those are the numbers - so like I said non-skeds are somewhat alike
I never broke guarantee at Omni. In 2.5 years, it was 60 every month except for getting an extra hour or two once or twice. At Atlas, I credited 80 hours in July, 71 in August, 73 in September, and am showing 75 next month. Atlas may be fairly similar in pay rate if you're comparing 767 to 767, but the rig makes a huge difference. FOs on the 747 can and do make as much as (or more than) Omni CAs.
If I'm sitting in a hotel on reserve, I'm getting paid my 4.85 hours/day. Being a regular lineholder this month, if I'm pulled off my line for some reason, they have to reassign me to a flying trip (I cannot be put on hotel reserve), or send me home. The company is limited to how and why they can hold me out, unless I volunteer.
Beyond that, Atlas doesn't make me want to quit after each trip. They don't send guys out to Madrid for 90 days involuntarily (sickening), or jam you in a coach seat for 20+ hours. Heck, I haven't even talked to scheduling since June. I just show up and do my work.

Best thing for your aviation career is to avoid Omni Air...If you do take the job, get out as fast as you can. Omni is not an employee friendly place to work and the union (IBT) is not effective enough to change the environment...Omni is more a flying circus than an airline.
I also heard that if you open an armed door they will give you thirty days off! Crazy circus place anyway!!! LOL

When you finish kicking the crap out of the new born poodle who lives in some cardboard shack, run across the street and expose yourself to a fire hydrant... Do this while repeating " there's no place like home, there's no place like home". To answer your question, I personally would purchase a Kabota tractor over a John Deer.

lol...I must correct you...If you open and armed door, you will get fired...If you arm a door and then open it, you will get fired...If you want to get fired you get thirty days off...You can't escape hell...

So with all being said, the top of the pay scale is 122k as a 767/777 Captain and not a penny more. That also includes twelve years of service of being gone 18 days a month, flying 30-50 hours a month with no rig to encourage effiencey or productivity of the work force. Not every new hire or current employee will be associated with that outstanding pay scale and/or quality of life provided. Exaggeration implied.
In 2012 I made SLIGHTLY LESS than 100k as a 767 international Capatain on year 5 and 6 pay at Omni. I was gone on average 17 days a month. I averaged 45 hours of flying a month making nothing more than the 60 hour guarantee in pay. During my entire tenure at Omni I never exceeded the guarantee of pay during my days
Omni is not capable of or chooses not to be more efficient with their work force. I will let one's imagination figure out which one it is.
