If u feel things aren't going well, get involve, become an instructor. Remember, at a startup, nothing will go smooth initially. Or just go to a major. Almost all are hiring.
What scumbag outfit did you come from ?

Oh Oooo, did your computer game freeze up again in Mom's basement?
Mom, Meatloaf!
Stop playing with it in your superman pajamas, go get a job, go get a girlfriend, stop watching porn, stop throwing pooh at the neighbors, switch to decaf and get a life.

If we read a little about the history of how certain successful companies started, they all had issues, disagreements, etc. But someone had a vision and the perseverance to see it through. When Jobs created Apple there was another guy that bailed out early because of disagreements. I bet he is kicking himself today.
I guess you can say I'm one of the "latin" mafia. I'm one of the new instructors and I am hispanic, but I believe I have the resume and qualifications just like the other guys.
Eastern is a new airline and with that an evolving one. Is it perfect? By no means. There is a lot of people that put in max effort and are working to make it great. Everyone has their heart in the right place. Changes will continue to come, some by management decisions and some by force if the situation gets bad.
We will never make everyone happy and that's the truth. Ooooo will not be happy anywhere and if he's happy at the airline, he will B$tch the whole flight about how expensive boat repairs are, or how the Cubs should have not won the world series. ;-) He is probably a peach to fly with. If you are a guy/gal that wants to fly good equipment and be a part of something new, this is your place.
If you are a guy/gal that can commute or live within 2 hr drive from S Florida, Eastern can be a good choice for you. We have known Crewmember and the jumpseat guy is working diligently for the agreements with others and we have a few good one already.
Others are working on work rules and the company has been receptive and is listening to us.
There is a little for everybody here. If you want to come and leave with a sports team for a few days, decent layovers and go home or you just want to mix it up with Cuba turns, we have it. If you want to be part of the change, make suggestions and get involved. But if you want to come and b$tch and moan about everything you find wrong and make it a miserable flight/layover, don't come. There are enough doomsday sayers around.
And if you say it's all Kool Aid... yes... I am sipping it for now..
