Compass updates

So of the 241 FOs on property today, does that figure include September and most of October new hires too? Also how many upgrades will there be for the remaining of this year? And this mentioned training plan for next year, any idea on how many upgrades per month?

16-20 upgrades in January
24 upgrades in February
32 upgrades in march
Some months have closer to 40 per month after march.
I would expect to lose 145 pilots to flow in 2015 and also another 20 - 30 pilots (low estimate) to attrition for other airlines. Then we have to add around 220 pilots for the AA flying. And we were short staffed to begin with.
Hope that helps.
God help us. Highly doubt we have enough check airmen to do IOE at a pace that will be anywhere close to how fast the new hires and upgrades will be exiting the schoolhouse.

I'm in the Nov 13th class. So my seniority# should be 20-30 numbers above that 497. After flows and attrition, my seniority should be between 340-350 seniority, with low estimate attrition. I still don't get how I would miss an upgrade next year, I'd be less than 50% seniority in the company. Still not accounting for bypassing.

What you need to hope for, is that this airline will have enough pilots on line by late 2015, so that they have the staffing to allow the fo's to upgrade. If we are behind on FO staffing, we won't be able to run the upgrade classes as soon as the company, or you, would like. The more time that passes, the more FO's that become qualified(who previously were not).
