From the ALPA hotline:
"...the Association provided notice this week to the Company of our election to discontinue the ADTG and transition to 4 hours pay and credit for each calendar day including calendar day overnight"
Better send our union reps an email and take them to school, looks like they got it wrong in their message to the pilot group. In fact, send like 40...just beat the dead horse as much as humanly possible

All we get for going away from the adtg is... "4 hours pay and credit for each calendar day away from base with no duty assigned" It is in the CBA twice, in 2 LOA's. Have a duty period cross 2 calendar days and you will lose out on that credit and the adtg will not protect you since it is now gone.
They would have to amend those LOA's, which would be great if they did, but that would require Trans State agreeing to it.

Stop calling it a 4 hr min day and I won't have to keep correcting you.
With the adtg now gone, 2 days can pay 4:00 (adtg min 9:30), 3 days 8:00 (adtg min 14:15), 4 days 12:00 (adtg min 19:00) and 5 days 16:00 (adtg min 23:15).
Please don't be shocked when you see these trips.

When the dust settles, I will be fairly senior and will benefit more from the 4 hours pay/credit option for a calendar day without duty. It will be a good addition to add 4 hours on top of an already high credit/day trip.
The reserve pilots and pilots looking to trade their bad trips with open time trips will no longer be able to benefit from the adtg minimums it supplied since we no longer have a min day provision.

im kinda curious how long the company will require to implement the pay and credit. Earlier they wanted up to six months for the credit due to software limitations. 25% of the voters may be gone before implementation.

I'm confused.
Why don't I get a call from Compass for an interview? I applied 2 times in the past 2 years and never got a single call.
-no arrest history
-no driving tickets in the past 15 years
-3500 hours CFI
-undergrad and a grad degree.
Is Compass slowing down hiring?
Thanks

Has anyone started recently? What all does the one day orientation contain? Assuming mostly HR stuff and your home study.
Also, I have heard you should be able to jumpseat home with not problems that afternoon, so no need to buy a return ticket. Can anyone who has started recently confirm this?
Not important, just it is nice to have, are you in KCM at that point? With the change in the uniform policy one wouldn't have to wait for their uniform to use KCM, but when are you in the system?
