We all get that 8 hour 3 days are undesirable. However, they are the exception to the rule. And unfortunately, JR/RSV pilots will have to get stuck flying them. That's what being part of a seniority system has always been about. Once seniority improves by just a bit, you should be able to avoid the few trips that the ADTG helps against.
However, 30 hr overnights have always played a significant part of our pairings, and will probably continue to do so. Having the 4 hr pay AND credit for those pairings will help a large number of our Line Holders, which is what RSV and JR patiently wait to become. And they will. In the meantime, gotta suck it up and fly those FEW inefficient trips.

Why do you keep ignoring the language in the contract/LOA?
All we get for going away from the adtg is... "4 hours pay and credit for each calendar day away from base with no duty assigned" It's in the LOA. Read it.
Please, your ignorance is unbecoming. You quoted exactly what I am referring to, the fact that it is a min DUTY pay, not min DAY pay.
If we dump the adtg, the Compass CBA says we get... "4 hours pay and credit for each calendar day away from base with no duty assigned"
Maybe it is hard for you to understand.

Theory? You just explained exactly how a pilot can get paid 4:00 for a 2 day and 8:00 for a 3 day. With the adtg, the pay would be a minimum of 8:00 and 14:15.
If anyone is trying to brainwash this pilot group, it is you. I am just letting them know that we do not get 4:00 min day pay if we get rid of the adtg (because that is FACT).
All we get for going away from the adtg is... "4 hours pay and credit for each calendar day away from base with no duty assigned"
As long as you guys keep saying we are better off with a non-existent min-day pay option, I will keep correcting you.

Agreed, haven't spoke to one pilot on the line that wants ADTG, I'm sure there are a few but the majority favor getting rid of it...

Actually I am very, very right. Section 4.B.1 spells it out very clearly. We do not have min day pay, we have min duty pay.

The ADTG is an amendment that adds a sub paragraph. It doesn't delete what was already in the CBA that specifies a minimum 4 hours for any duty period, that is not going away no matter what. Please stop spreading lies.

Exactly, bombardier and 404yxl are absolute idiots. We have the option, to receive 4 hrs pay and credit for every single day away from your base, on your line award.

That is exactly what I have been saying. We only get 4:00 for DUTY periods, that is it. I am correcting people that keep saying we will get 4:00 min DAY pay. We will not.
If the adtg goes away, the Compass CBA and LOA says we get... "4 hours pay and credit for each calendar day away from base with no duty assigned"
You can ignore what the CBA says, but the quote above is word-for-word from it.

Word-for-word from the Compass CBA says we get... "4 hours pay and credit for each calendar day away from base with no duty assigned"
We will not get 4:00 pay and credit for "every single day away from your base"
Why do you continually lie about this, even when you are shown the exact language?
Go find the language that says we will get 4:00 pay and credit "every single day away from your base" and report back to us.
We have a min DUTY of 4:00 and if we dump the adtg, we get... "4 hours pay and credit for each calendar day away from base with no duty assigned"
