I think Compass is one of the few regipnals still able to be picky. I'm sure you'll get an email eventually. At the beginning of the year it was about a month from the time I applied til I got an email to interview.

If you have both 121 experience, 4 year degree...you should be good to go. Check your application for small errors, because you should be receiving a call right away. this is all assuming you have no violations, criminal history, and checkride busts. Just check your app, for any small error (such as date on a medical or certificate, etc).

This....I went to the one in DFW and I think they would have offered me an interview date right then and there had I not had to tell them about my issue of getting into Canada. They look hard over your resume and if you meet the qualifications you are golden. Next one is in a a little over a week in SFO. Highly recommend....

Well to be fair, it used to be a trampling of the CBA, until the association signed an LOA that specifically allows the company to raise the minimum credit floor. Still cannot believe that LOA was signed by our union. At a minimum, they should have said that if the company is going to raise the min credit floor, all pilots, including reserves, should be paid that number as a minimum for that month's guarantee.

I'd like something like; all credit in excess of 85 hrs paid at 150%. Incentive for pilots who want the hours and a reason for mgmt not to run short.

Agree. As it stands now, there is no incentive for the company to staff more pilots. Or put another way, we have nothing in our contract to penalize the company (or reward the pilots) for overworking the pilots. The only thing I can hope for, is to have high block times every month, so I can time out around day 340, to give me a few extra weeks off.I imagine with everyone working so much, this is a real possibility for a number of pilots starting this December.

In my opinion, this is only the beginning, the staffing situation won't be getting better with new airplanes coming and flows leaving.
