Compass updates

I interviewed before it was announced, was offered a position and chose the earliest class date they had available. That day was July 16th...that sure is some luck. It sure would have made this first year a little more affordable. I don't even know what I'm going to be doing for luggage until I get a sizable enough paycheck!

So a newhire will make more in the next 8 months (3 of it in training), than any new FO from the last 5 months will in the next 12 just because they NEED to offer this to attract pilots. ****ing BS. Just raise the first year FO pay and be done with it.
Any idea as if they re-instate the training contract in order to get the bonus, or what the timeline for the bonus is? I cant imagine they would be dumb enough to offer 10K day one, no contract. It will become a revolving door of E-175 types if they do.

Wait, Compass doesn't have the 12 month training contract anymore?

I've been reading that Delta as a result of the rejected TA, is going to excercise 175 options apparently 30 of them. This is obviously pure speculation at this point, and most likely a negotiation tactic but have there been any rumblings at Compass? I know you guys are crazy busy as it is...but I have to ask.

Based on our current performance I doubt they want to give them to us...but who knows

I've not been on the line for long but every delay I've encountered has been either station or gate related. I think DL finally realized that after they started the LAX-SFO shuttle and expanding the mainline flying out of LAX. Not to mention runway construction in LAX for what, the next two years?
