I've heard they may lower captain rates so we can pay first year FO's more.

Most Junior First Officers and Captains by Date of Hire
 First Officers Captains
LAX 10/15/15 4/30/15
MSP 7/9/15 9/12/13
SEA 7/30/15 4/30/15

LAX you will get out of training. Maybe SEA, if not, a few months down the road. LA reserve is fairly short, a month or two. I can't speak of SEA.

Cool thanks. How many legs/day is typical? I saw on flightaware most flights are decently long; didn't see any TUS-PHX type of hops.

You can expect a mix of everything. Some 5 leg days have started to pop in some pairings but isn't the majority. You might see a 13 hour 4 day or a 25 hour 4 day. There is a good mix of just about everything

Is that 13 hours block or credit. I hope it's block.

My point exactly. Argue contracts and flows and bases all you want but not fhaving to fly with an egotistical known-it-all for four days = priceless.

The new guidance they came out for those that where offered the bonus. Basically you get your first installment, then no more, and then move to the new pay rate. Otherwise you end up losing money. So this makes sense!
