Yes. He *might* upgrade faster at CPZ but would be forever subject to the permanent unlimited flow down of DAL pilots should DAL choose to furlough. If DAL furloughed just 10% of their list, it would flush all CPZ pilots 4 times over. Its a huge risk that IMO isn't worth the reward of working for TSH.

RAH isn't looking too good IMO. Messy arbitration & vicious competition from SWA in DEN/MKE combined with many RAH lifers doesn't equal much attrition.
Also, consider that RAH has regional contracts with basically everyone, whereas CPZ has all of its eggs in one basket. RAH has orders for 40 c-series aircraft which may or may not be the hottest thing since the crj. CPZ has zero aircraft on order.

If it were me, I'd ride it out at RAH. You are just as likely to upgrade there within the next 3-4 years as you are at CPZ, the key difference being that your job at RAH is a bit more secure than it would be at CPZ.

I wouldn't call RAH secure, far from it as a matter of fact. They're already losing ground in DEN, and MKE will only get worse with SWA's aquisition of AT. The fee for departure contracts will continue to dry up, and it's likely the C-Series will be delayed like every other production aircraft that's new.

I agree with this. I think Republic will be out of a business in a few years.

It looks like we will be hiring more than the original 60 to replace the flow ups.

About 15 people have resigned since July. Another put his 2 week notice in a couple days ago and several more are leaving to be recalled to sun country this week.

Good news, are they planning on adding a class? When I interviewed they said a class in Nov and one in Dec.

I was talking to a training manager the other day, he said there will be classes next year but the whole annual planning process is not quite complete. The company apparently were not going to have an extra class in November but the reinstated it to account for attrition.

the sept 16th class base award is up on FLICA. Does anyone know when the next system bid or bid for base will be open and awarded?

What bases had spots in them?

I need to decide wither or not to renew my lease by the end of October (I live near dtw) and start/have orientation in Nov.

The bid that closed yesterday was for 3 DTW FO's and to replace Fo's moving to the left seat so DTW has openings
