So you have at least some avenue for resolution. Do you think it would be better without a union?

exactly. At least there is a grievance process that is more than one employee complaining to his boss.

Unfortunately there isn't much else room be done. I don't see anyone releasing us to strike because we can't see the reserve grid.

I think there are multiple grievances beyond just the reserve grid.
But the issue here is the timeline. They knew this software was not complainant, I mean they are already running it at TSA and GoJet how could they not know. With this knowledge they ignored the CBA and just kept going. I understand like a scheduler screwing up or an ambiguous clause that could be skewed or interpreted differently. That's a grievance. This is just a blatant IDGAF violation. It's clear as day in the CBA and they are just going to ignore it.

I mean what could remotely be the companies argument in arbitration. "Whoops forgot about that clause, my bad oh well too late."

Either way agreed no strike happening over this but sad that such a clear and blatant violation has no consequences.

My point is all of this money is paid toward dues, etc, yet all we are told is the company can do as they wish. They don't have to abide by the contract but we do. In almost 3yrs the only thing I've seen come from grievance is a day of vacation that took almost a year to get them to find a way to make it available for use. A list of the 20-25 contract violations would be nice to know from the union and some communication from both sides telling us what to expect and what's going on and why, and what is being done to fix the issues. We've heard nothing regarding any of the issues

This is ridiculous. I can't believe they haven't said a word about schedules not being uploaded. If they couldn't get this to work after a year of delaying in order to "get it right" we shouldn't be using it.

Anybody who is participating in SCP confirm they are able/unable to view their schedule?

Nailed it! What is the point of pay ALPA dues when ALPA doesn't do anything except send us an email every so often saying there is violations and concerns with this software. How about make good use of my and everyone else dues and provide us with some clear information as to what is going on. Give us daily or weekly updates, and show us the contract violations. Isn't that your job as our ALPA union? If it is not then get the heck out or stop making us pay worthless dues!

What do you think the company would do if there wasn't a Union?

You do realize the union is mostly made up of volunteers working on their off days?

Someone stated at the top of the page the union sent out an email last night.

So it sounds like they communicated to the group, as you asked.
