No LCR? I bid max days off and get stuck with a 90+ hour line...Did they raise the floor? It seems everyone is over 85 hours for October.

Must be the same UND kid that I flew with that insisted we submit an ASAP for doing 255 below 10,000' for five seconds so he wouldn't be "violated" and not be hireable at (insert mainline carrier here). For the record, I did not submit one.

I've had that a couple of times. I tell them I'll fill it out when I get to the hotel. I lie.

PBS can raise the floor as it starts looking at how much flying they have to cover without them actually officially raising the floor, did it give you a minimum required line value in your reason report?

Next time that happens have them look at your actual ground speed, it will be somewhere around 300kts. ATC doesn't know how "fast" we are going through the air, only how fast we are going over the ground...I pointed that out to my last fo to which he replied, "ohh" with the dumbfounded 10 year old kid look

I actually explained that to him. Explained to him how they would have to pull the radar recordings and how no one has time for that crap and how that if we were somehow busted the controller would give us a number to call but he wasn't having it. We actually argued about it all the way to Dallas but alas, I'm still just a dumb Captain at a regional and at the rate FO's are leaving here for mainline he is probably some delta or Fed Ex Captain's problem now. Looks like he had the last laugh after all lol.

this whole story made me happy, good times
