The last E170 752CZ (now 882RW) left in April. So it's been a while.

to add insult to injury my buddy at Peidmont went from IOE to a line with most of the flights at triple premium pay. Not counting his bonus, dude flew 96 hours and credited 182 hours of pay his first month flying.
Get the union involved. Unless I've missed it, they simply cannot deny you a trip pickup on your days off. Have you emailed about picking up trips?

Well they can if you do not meet the 117 rest requirements.

Are you trying to pick up trips on your off days or during reserve days?

Hey guys. Stupid rainmaker question. Does AJGTE pay above guarantee? I picked up a trip on a day off that was offered by another pilot (so trade board as opposed to open time) and my credit hours due still shows 75.

You'll have to email scheduling to get it fixed. I had the exact same issue last week and sent them an email about it being off-day flying; they fixed it pretty quick. It should be coded in the PADJ column when they change it, and you'll see it reflected in the "Credit Hours Due:" section.

Picking up a trade board trip on a day off does not go above guarantee per the contract. Only open time does that. So if you're on reserve and picked it up, I'm afraid you worked for free (unless you were going to break guarantee already). Well, unless you worked out some cash deal or are excited about per diem pay.

That said, "ADGTE" is defined as "Adjusted Guarantee" in Rainmaker, so theory (CBA) might be different than in practice (Rainmaker, and therefore your paycheck)... But if you are showing 75 hours of credit due, then it seems that theory and practice are the same in this case. Sorry bud!

Everyone preaches about going to a regional where you can live in base or commute to easily. Too, that seems to be most new people's priority. If that's true,we don't really compete with endeavor..we operate in markets three timezones away. Most of the freshman and sophomore FOs I fly with live in CA or the surrounding area.

We'll see, though. I could be very wrong...after all I have an aviation degree that I just barely earned.
I commute across 3 time zones and it's absolutely horrible. Would never do that again nor recommend it to anyone. We won't lose guys to 9E. The commute isn't worth it. Trust me.

Now that MSP is done and we continue 18 upgrades a month, you are about to fly up in seniority. I am estimating to jump 20% by December bids.

Envoy has been saying they will get those planes the day after AA signed our contract. It's sort of pathetic really.
