Looks like England is going into another lockdown. If Biden wins and forces a nationwide lockdown, airlines here are hosed.

He will not. This country will not accept it nor would it even be legal. He knows it which is why you don’t see him, the Democrats, or the media demanding it publicly. That Supreme Court Justice confirmation just became even more important because I believe any such attempt to shut down the country via executive order would fly through the system to that court.

He and they have said otherwise. I’m not saying it would happen, but it’s disingenuous to say otherwise.

Please provide a source because I’ve never heard him mention a lockdown, just a mask mandate which is also on shaky legal ground. Our republic thankfully gives the federal government limited powers in these situations.

England and France are re-entering lock down, and Russia just instituted a nationwide mask mandate.

It looks like these countries along with others, are all part of a conspiracy with the left wing liberals here, to ensure that POTUS loses the election.

I didn't say anything about left wing, liberals, or conspiracy. I'm simply talking about what Biden has said about what he would do. It is a vastly different stance than Trump, who has let states make their own decisions on dealing with Covid.

Relax... My sarcasm wasn't meant for you. Reading it again, I can see how you might take it that way. My bad.

I was really using your factual statement about England's lockdown (I've since bolded it) to make the point how silly some of these guys on here sound, when they imply and even express the opinion that our healthcare and public health experts and professionals here in the US are hyping up the Corona virus in order to damage POTUS.

Clearly the media has been doing a lot of hyping. They very much have been pinning this isssue on the POTUS despite many other nations taking many different approaches, and even those with high mask compliance are still having problems.

The commonly used cloth mask, gaiters, and face shields don’t work... it’s all eye wash. N95 masks and respirators do work and provide protection... just not enough to go around.

So here's what gets me....the US government mandated an emergency order to build ventilators. Ventilators were built quickly.

Now...
Between government mandates and/ or free market demand for N95s, why do we still not have enough??? Going way out on a limb here when I assume an N95 is simpler to make than a ventilator.

(Not a pointed question at any individual.)
