Not sure what his endgame is but his constant holier than thou attitude of trying to point out how all of us have it so good gets tiresome.

For someone who claims to not care cause "retirement soon", he really seems to care. Or just likes being a contrarian just for the sake of being argumentative.

Well, you probably won't understand it, but my answer is...
"For the same reason if I look out my window and I see a teenager yelling at a 2nd grader at the bus stop, I don't just close the blinds and walk away. I will watch and if it turns into "mob mentality" I respond".

My question to you is, if you dont agree with me, then provide information, argue facts, dissent or scroll on past. Just don't state opinions and act like they are facts.....unless, of course, you want me to respond.

I'll also add, that there are prolly 30 or so habitual posters here. The vast majority are of one train of thought. There are prolly greater than 1000 lurkers that are open to legitimate pro/con debates as opposed to watching a gang rape. After watching decades of votes go down at DALPA, I realize that the vocal minority usually doesn't represent the vast majority(CC and DPA come to mind) Even 2015 TA 1 had about 37 % vote for it( I voted against it, not that it matters....just precluding the pages of misinformation trying to besmirch me)
So, essentially, I'm not "speaking" to you......I am attempting to communicate to the other 9970 + other pilots that read the forum

I don’t see his posts that way. Maybe I’m wrong.

it’s easy to say “full pay to the last day, heck I’ll even step on the gas as we drive into this wall”

Right up until right before you hit it, and say “oh..”

I mean we survived last time right, so we will this time. Right? Just thoughts to ponder.

It’s basically a legalized form of embezzlement for executives. I’m not sure why it’s legal, it’s criminal IMHO. Buybacks should either be illegal, or else CEOs, CFOs, COOs, VPs, or any other executive that controls the company’s purse strings should be barred from trading in their own company’s stocks. I’m glad buybacks are illegal in the CARES act, although that’s only for the next six 6 months...
The only problem with the theory is most posters on here claim stock buybacks have not moved the stock price so no gains for option holders.

PSA for the day...
The word is "probably", not "prolly".
That is all.

Slang: an informal nonstandard vocabulary composed typically of coinages, arbitrarily changed words, and extravagant, forced, or facetious figures of speech

Another PSA.
