Just found out if you expire, even after filling out the template for sim time if you end up NQ that means No pay status.
If you can get NQAT (non qual awaiting training) that is paid status.
Its up to the individual chief pilot to review and give you that.
This is where we are now...

The Reps I know are watching how the companies who took the money are using it. What they do if they think they find abuse is unknown. Maybe cut the spigot off forever later on? Don't know, and they won't say.

For the people who still don’t think the company will furlough a minimum of 2,558 pilots, all you have to do is read this thread. Already many people have piped in they are going NQ, which means they haven’t flown in 3-4 months. No doubt that will be corrected come Oct 1.

When did everybody’s first reaction become “write your congressman?” If you keep your problems local, you keep your government local. Most importantly, this shouldn’t even involve the government. There comes a time but this hasn’t even gotten in the car to go down that road.

I’m also nearing my NQ status. I’ve submitted my available days for the last two months. Is there anything else I am required to do to maintain pay in the case of NQ?
For example, am I required to yellow slip or buy a trip for decency?
thx

Going directly to the federal government with all your trivial problems in not the way to get things done. I’m not saying that the company is right but there are channels to go through and you also have to give it a little time. The issue getting resolved before payday is acceptable.

Delta has played loose with the CARES money from the beginning. They held their hand out for taxpayer money to cover payroll, then encouraged 30k employees to "save the company" and go ask the taxpayer, again, for money to cover their payroll. Disingenuous as hell. Especially given the fact that many of those that used UI will now not have any/much left when they really need it come 10/1.
The dam is about to bust with NQ/NQAT/RECY or #whateverthe****theywanna call it. I suspect Delta will need to be reminded where that money came from....until 9/30 anyway.
Besides, how many click and send campaigns has Ed asked you/us to participate in the past 5 years? How is that for keeping it local? I mean, #silenceisviolence, right?
