yes, after 1 year you may be awarded an aircraft other than your current one if it is required to change bases.

Example 1) If you get the 7ER NYC and want SLC, after a year you can change to any plane in SLC

example 2) if you get NYC 7ER and after a year still can’t hold SEA7ER, you can change to 220 or 73N to get SEA

In both of the above scenarios you would carry forward the remaining balance of your current seat lock to your new category in addition to your new 2 year seat lock.

LOL maybe but doubtful. With so many 330's here and on the way, and with the movement yet to come, a few 330B NH positions seems inevitable. It's not a big deal nor a huge paradigm shift to see a few plug positons go unfilled from time to time.

Not sure how literal to take your question. While commuting (especially only for a few months or even a year or two) isn't as big a deal as some like to pretend it is, I would absolutely avoid a transcon commute if at all possible.

Do you live in SEA? Or just wanting to commute there? If you live there, I'd pick any BES in SEA if offered. Second choice would be anything that has a base there. There really is no "ease of changing later" other than the technically true but radically over-hyped 320-330 transition. That's it, and IMO its not worth a year or two commuting especially transcon if you live in base anyway. If you commute anyway, then SLC or LAX may work for you for a bit.

There is no sense of urgency whatsoever in attempting to force the perfect convergance of cicrumstances. Lots of movement on the way. I'd prioritize desired base over desired equipment.

03XX is 30% or better greater than the plug. With the unprecidented choices we've seen you will likely have more "smash" than you think WRT picking. Of course from time to time entire classes only get one offering, so the plug and the "most senior" are the same. With that number in most cases these days, you should at least be able to avoid what you want the least and possibly get something even better. Not everyone wants what you want anyway, so your 30+% could really be closer to 50% as some senior people will bid things you don't want anyway.

Edit: LOL just read the 03XX. I initially thought it was 30XX. You very well may be the plug but much of what I said above stands. There have been TONS of small batch options lately. You very well may get something better than your worst case. Also there likely will be some new categories soon (SEA possibly BOS 320 most likely as well as SLC 330 although I suspect that one will "go senior" for a year or two). Also a new 220 base is possible in your first year.

Pretty much weekly (Tues to following Wed with Sa/Su OFF)

60ish +/- seems to be the number since Nov though high as 73 at the end of 2021.
