Think you mean SEA 350. BOS opened in Oct of last year. It’s pretty much reached stasis, having a mere 6/10 A/B vacancies in June, and 5/10 in July.

SEA, on the other hand, opened in June with 60/60. That did create some movement that month, BUT… May had seen the same widespread base movement down to the VERY bottom of the list on the 73 and 220. (June/July on the 73/220/320).

There is almost always something happening to create some opportunity. The point remains that NH’s can reasonably expect to be able to change bases very quickly, if not immediately. And that’s if we only hire for attrition. If we do hire above attrition (which I see strong evidence to support as very likely), that will be even more true. Once again, only 34 2025 NH’s didn’t see an AE with a chance to move.

It’s been an option for quite some time, they just seem to have treated it as more of an overflow spot until recently.

The only official announcement from the company is that they are no longer announcing hiring figures.

Latest I've heard from the rumor mill is basically hiring for attrition again this year.

So many of our deliveries are delayed into 2027 or beyond...

The target keeps shifting. The official/public answer is hiring for attrition (which would be about 550). But, I think the prevailing opinion is that is a "floor" number, and that we will likely hire some decent amount above that. Perhaps as much as double that on the high end. Supposedly they felt that putting a number out there, only to scale back 'burned' them last year. So they are being more coy about it now. Don't expect to see a definitive number as in the past, or as other companies are putting out there.

Talked to a United LCA recently. They were told (in their fall LCA meeting) to expect 3,000!!!

I remember circa 2015 or 2016, they told to expect 20,000 by 2020 as well. Wonder how close they get to their 3k projection this time.
