Hilarious. You're a joke.
RS. Plenty of guys have successfully been hired on attempt #2, so keep working toward your goals. And remember, these merciless keyboard warriors have exactly ZERO bearing on the attitude you choose to take into the interview room next time. We’ve all said and done things we regret - hopefully the lesson gets learned, we adjust, and we move on.

as for the posters with numbers: they’re probably on the low side but if the company is considering you then it’s your love of flying, your character and your leadership that they’re probably trying to evaluate.

My biggest advice: polish your application and be yourself! If the meet and greet goes well they'll probably be looking at your app shortly thereafter. I personally think having an interview prep company review your application is worth its weight in gold, they know all of the weird rules (ie Delta requires you to spell out street names in your address history, "street" not "st", nittanoid stuff like that) and having a second set of trained eyes is a good thing. Best of luck!

I didn’t do interview prep and my resume says st still got the offer

Should've gone with EABOD, at least there is Delta heritage with that phrase...

I think it's consistency and attention to detail that they look for. All abbreviations in the same format: St. Ave. Rd. <or> all spelled out completely. Hours -v- Hrs. Numbers or spelled out. I can not tell you how many apps I reviewed around the time I was hired and this attention to detail and consistency was a common weak point. YMMV, this was a over a decade ago, but still a valid check.

I mean you reap what you sow. His post history and antics on our page as well as others is a clear indication to his character and conduct. Entitled and narcissistic are two very undesirable traits at any legacy carrier.

Default Interviewing 2nd time around

Hello,

I interviewed almost 2 years ago and to be completely honest I was in shock/frustrated for a while that I didn’t get the job. Both my parents worked at Delta, one was a captain for 30 years.

Since then I got a lot more experience at my LCC. I upgraded, took on ALPA positions, company leadership, training, etc.

I recently submitted my application on the new system and I’m once again excited and hopeful to have a chance at Delta.

Would it be held against me that I took so long to re-apply?

Not at all, but depending on how you share "I was shocked I didn't get the job. After all. Dad/Mom was a DL captain for 30 years" it could come off the wrong way. It has some serious Draco Malfoy energy.
