Anyone have updated/current wait times between Indoc and Sims on the 320 and 73N? I know in the spring it was between 4-6 weeks, just trying to see if that's still accurate and what the projection looks like through fall (i.e. if its going to get longer or shorter). Thanks!

that said, I would recommend working on your ATP in the meantime to increase your chances, but don’t delay getting your app in…you might get lucky and get the invite that much sooner

A good tip that a sim instructor told me about new hires is: “there’s a difference between instrument recency and proficiency, we don’t have time to get you proficient.”

Any ideas how to handle not being able to get a hold of the Interview Team to schedule? I got the interview invite e-mail on Friday afternoon. I called and it rang and went to a voicemail stating to leave a message and that they will call you back in 24 hours. Given it was a Friday (and yesterday was a holiday) I didn't expect to hear back until today. Unfortunately, after almost 3 weeks off, I am now flying the next 6 days. They called and left a message for me this morning, but I was flying. I called them back 3 hours later, when I landed, but it just rang and went to voicemail. Naturally I left a message and said I was in the air and that I am available the rest of the day.
I can already guarantee you they are going to call tomorrow morning while I'm flying again (and this cycle will continue) for the rest of this week. Come Friday it will be Day 7. The e-mail states that if you haven't gotten in touch by Day 10 they will assume your not interested. Obviously this is not the case, but I just don't know what to do.
I'll be honest. In the year 2022 I am a bit perplexed we are doing this via phone. Given the nature of our jobs and always being away at various times/days, I am surprised they don't e-mail invitees a slew of available dates 6-8 weeks ahead of time. It would be so so easy.
Thanks everyone!

The good thing is they are actually returning your VMs, that can't be said for some depts. at DAL. Keep at it and make sure you stay very professional in your VMs (not saying you wouldn't, but it'd be easy to lose your patience on VM #23

As to why they do it this way considering they are trying to get ahold of pilots, absolutely no clue, if that helps.

For those who've recently had interviews...any new gouge on changes to the flow, topics, interviews, areas of emphasis, etc.? Just looking to refine my approach to interview day. Work smarter, not harder.
.
Also, are they making CJOs same day or is there a wait? How about time between CJO and class date?
Appreciate the help, thanks in advance!

That sounds extremely frustrating. I would say keep doing what you're doing and maybe try mentioning in your next VM, 'I'll be flying 6am-11am, call anytime after lunch, etc.'
