Not true. Last day of class is Wednesday. Out around 330pm. Wing ceremony that night. Hotel provided until Thursday if you want to stay the night after the wing ceremony

Wasn’t the case earlier in the year, but a welcome change if true.

Just received a CJO last month. Will be commuting from South Florida. Because of the commute, probably looking to be based in ATL (I have family there). What kind of schedule could I expect? Obviously it would depend on airframe, but more or less? Am I looking at 4 day trips then a few days off? 2 days on, 2 off? Any thoughts? No previous 121 experience, so take it easy on me…

Appreciate the insight…

As you probably know there is no guarantee that you will be able to hold Atlanta right off the bat. While it has been available recently always a chance your class will not be offered it. I would plan a stint in New York just to keep your sanity. Generally speaking, throughout most of the fleets we have mostly 3 and 4 day trips. With 1, 2, and 5-day trips being less common on the narrow body fleets. After you spend your time on reserve you will start to build your likes and dislikes when you can hold a line. As far as how often you get days off. We do have contractual minimums that you will learn about. Generally speaking, you can work as much or as little as you want. That is the very basic answer.

Ive done similar tests before where speed was controllable. Thanks!

You can speed up with the D key and slow down with F. As you keep going it will keep speeding up until it hits a max speed value of 100.

I found this online thing that I will link to below to be more accurate than the cut-e prep one. It is more representative as far as look, shapes and how fast shapes move (even so the real one still usually has the shapes going slower (so easier) than this one. The main differences are that this one is level based and just seemingly keeps speeding up further and further and you can not adjust the speed. Additionally the control is different. In the real one you have to drag around your position with a control thing at the bottom, for this one you just move your mouse around. Nevertheless I thought it was good practice. I would say reaching level 6 to 9 is probably representative of where you get to with the real test at about speed 70-100

Another thing to keep in mind for the real one is that if you are making rapid movements, the visual is slightly delayed in my opinion. What counts is where you put the dot on the control circle, not what it looks like. I had a crash because I moved the mouse rapidly to go through a circle obstacle where visually I looked to be in great position but at the bottom I had moved the dot over to far. Hope that makes sense.

Also don't forget you can run the real test's intro/practice as often as you want to get a feel for it.

Default Question

Does anyone know if Delta requires high school transcripts? Not sure how I would get those compared to my college ones!

Can anyone direct me to a explainer of the Delta training process post CJO beginning with INDOC?

Also, what is the typical time that people are seeing between INDOC and the first phase of training?

Thanks,

Thank you very helpful, only thing I was still looking for would be an explainer of the phases of training after indoc. I’m thinking specifically about phases 100-400? Really just looking not to get caught off guard by any interview expectations.

one more thing, would be where to go for Deltas mission statement/principles…

here is what I’ve found so far..
