DL Hiring: New Process

the sudoku is a pretty fun one. To those practicing, when the chart gets bigger and more difficult, remember it’s not necessary to fill the whole game in. Fill in the obvious ones and join up with the row with the missing answer. That’s what I did and was successful.

Hey everyone. Like most here, I received the Assessment! I signed up for Cut-E.
It took a bit of practice, but I’m feeling good about a lot of the games now. However, the Monitoring Ability (with the moving marbles) is very tough for me.
Does anyone have any solid tips or advice for that game?
Thank you!

Hi I apologize if this has been asked earlier in the thread. I received the invite for the online hiring assessment, and have been practicing with Cut-e, as others have suggested. Their are 9 aptitude tests on the site. Which ones are included in the Delta Hiring Assessment? Thanks!
Spatial orientation (ndb/rmi in relation to aircraft-its timed for 3 mins)
Reaction speed (click when two shapes match each other)
Deductive logical thinking (sudoku style—which shape should be in which position on the grid)
Monitoring ability(how many dots are moving around in a circle)
Multi-tasking capability (3 tasks at once—-adding/subtracting, determining if shapes are duplicated in a row of other shapes, and a slider like the game asteroids where you avoid objects to prevent a crash)
Auditory comprehension (audio clips of clearance read backs or approach clearances and you have to choose the correct answer from 3 multiple choice options)
Complex control (use your mouse to guide your plane through a series of rotating circles)
Work-related behavior(standard personality test)

Thanks for the help on here. Spent all week prepping for it so if I get the TBNT it'll suck but at least I can say I did my best and I'll try again in 6 months.

I truly appreciate it!

The Cut-E is:
Disagree. Neutral Agree
O O o o o O O
I did the practice and was told I’m a Consul Personality. The overview doesn’t sound bad. I’m not the shy quite type lol 🤷🏻♂️
I answered neutral to a couple questions, but most were either the 2nd circle from Agree/Disagree or the small circle (closest to Neutral).
I only clicked the far BIG circle on Agree or Disagree a couple times. Not sure if that helps you not paint yourself into a corner?

Awesome, thanks! Finally, did the practice psychology test the same style/format as the real assessment?

You can slightly agree, agree, or strongly agree.

1. I sympathize with people who are worse off than me….strong agree, agree, slightly agree
2. I work hard to achieve what I set out to do to make sure I succeed…..strong agree, agree, slightly
agree.
Reaction speed: The matching shapes is very easy. Don’t spend any extra time practicing.
The multi tasking is slightly different. Hold down the mouse button while moving the airplane to avoid the obstacles/line up with runway and keep it held while you are solving the other 2 things. Release after solving. The obstacles/runway goes slower when you keep the mouse held after aircraft is in place.
The monitoring ability/moving dots in circle is harder than cut-e. I would practice on hard for a while.
Spatial orientation. Easy: which way is the aircraft flying? Then looking at the screen, the station is off my:
1. front left wing
2. straight ahead
3. Front right wing
4. right wing
5. back right wing
6. directly behind
7. Back left wing
8. left wing
Deductive reasoning: Soduko
practice hard soduko/hard cut-e for a while until you can do it when there are only 2 of any of the 5 rows/columns filled in. Pretty difficult IMO.
Complex control/tunnel obstacles - Its exactly like the AA skills test. I would go to pilot credentials using a different email/ATP after practicing on cut-e medium or hard. I think it was easier than cut-e. Know how to speed up/slow down using f or d.
Auditory comprehension: 18 clearances from across the world. Tail # is always the same, airport is not really that important. Copy down the
-QNH
-Runway
-wind
-initial altitude and alt after 10 minutes
-descend and maintain
-traffic at 1,2,7 etc o’clock
-turn heading 310, etc,
-join localizer
Some are clearances, some are ATC instructions. Copy the #’s mainly. That will be what’s different on the multiple choice answers. Have good speakers, but not difficult.
I felt it was more difficult than the cut-e but it was fine. Suduko, monitoring and multitasking are really the only ones to practice a lot on hard. YMMV
