I'll be keeping my app updated but cannot lie, I am severely bummed out. I was fortunate to have this opportunity at all at my low time status and feel like I just somehow ****ed it away despite being a good test taker and feeling really confident about the whole thing. No surprises.. I just don't get it. Sadly, I doubt I'll get an opportunity anytime soon with my airline's upgrade times being 3 trending to 4 years in all likelihood.

tldr I am devastated.
Seems to just happen... I thought id for sure get an interview.

Others I know randomly studied for a day, took it and passed. One of the smartest, kindest and most well rounded guys I know took it and didnt get it the first time.

I didn't get it either, so you are not alone.

Dust yourself off, and keep your app updated - especially your flight times and date of last flight, etc.

You’ll be just fine!

Thanks for the insight. I am skeptical I will hear back any time in the next 3 years, but I am encouraged some do.

Should I leave my logbook tabbed? I had a WN interview (got the TBNT) and tabbed it up according to what they wanted. It is nice that every checkride and type and turbine milestones are tabbed but maybe I should take it off since Delta didn’t say to do that?

As long as it doesn’t say don’t tab it, I would leave it.

If they ask why it's tabbed, say "I like to track my own milestones." or "I thought it'd make your review of my logbooks easier. I'm proud of them." There's no way they'd ding you for tabbing your own logbooks unless it's specified in the instructions to not do it,

Hey everyone,

I have an interview scheduled for mid-April. Very excited and also very nervous. I do have a few silly questions though for those who have been through the process recently.

1. What is the hotel of choice there north of HQ for interviewees to stay at?

2. The packet they sent said to bring/upload all pilot certs. Do they want the basic drone certificate included in that?

3. They say bring original logbooks. Are they looking for paper-and-ink books with original signatures or a nice, clean digital log book print out?

4. They also say bring transcripts from college. Do they want them sealed in an envelope from the university or out and ready?

Just trying to cover my bases y'all.

Thanks

1. The Hilton is generally the best choice, and is walkable.

2 Yes. Bring it all.

3. What it says. Yes, Originals. All of them - if you have multiples. If you don’t have any, but have it digitally, bring that.

4. Can’t remember. Someone else will answer that one.

Good Luck!

Default Flight attire to interview

I have an interview coming up in a few weeks. With the insane lines at TSA, would it be a bad look to fly up in my current uniform? It’s a positive space ticket on Delta from my home airport.

No, I don't see why not. You could always change in the airport if you wanted.
