One option may be to get your 8710 from your PP checkride if possible. That would be a government document where the FAA or its represenative (DPE, etc) would have verified the exact hours that were in the very logbook that was lost. Like many little problems, this is likely more about how you handle it than what it actually is. If you can't get a copy of that 8710, maybe a sworn affidavit or at least a notarized statement that the missing 60 or so hours from that logbook are true and correct, etc.

Took the assessment yesterday. The Soduku part was challenging and I am unsure about the personality test. Very hard to choose an answer. The test will give two statements and you have to agree (three levels) with one or the other. Pick your poison type statements.

I practiced using CUT-E. The AA assessment has a few parts that are identical (soduku, reaction time, tunnel game) and you don't need an invite to take it.

Feeling somewhat confident, could go either way.

Another good option to look into. I had excluded those hours from my calculation and if asked about it had planned an explanation about 20 years time, several moves, and no other civilian time that those 60 or so. Obviously I earned my private ticket at some point, so I had to have at least the minimum.

When you guys chose your answer for the Sudoku did you see whether it was wrong or right immediately? I thought I saw the shape flash red or green.

had this similar issue back in 15, called and asked and they were super cool about it. Never got brought up in my interview. Only thing they wanted was my FHR from the Air Force; which they took and put to the side. Very low threat problem for mil guys.
