From FB post.

Here is an update on what to expect:

8 sections

Spatial orientation (ndb/rmi in relation to aircraft-its timed for 3 mins)

Reaction speed (click when two shapes match each other)

Deductive logical thinking (sudoku style—which shape should be in which position on the grid)

Monitoring ability(how many dots are moving around in a circle)

Multi-tasking capability (3 tasks at once—-adding/subtracting, determining if shapes are duplicated in a row of other shapes, and a slider like the game asteroids where you avoid objects to prevent a crash)

Auditory comprehension (audio clips of clearance read backs or approach clearances and you have to choose the correct answer from 3 multiple choice options)

Complex control (use your mouse to guide your plane through a series of rotating circles)

Work-related behavior(standard personality test)

wow that’s quick, didn’t the invites go out in the last 2 days? I thought most people got a month to prepare, not 2 weeks

DL management even agreed not to use one of the 35 until after the arbitrator rules, and you can bet they won't flow a single body unless and until they prevail.

The irony of the whole thing is that the 35 RJ's probably wouldn't even go to Endeavor, certainly not all of them. But their MEC was given a take it or leave it offer. They really had no choice in the matter. And it probably will hurt 9E morale, especially for those lifers who had a brief glimmer of hope. Which again shows how cold a maneuver it is (was).
Thanks that explanation makes sense. While I hope DALPA wins, I wish the best for EDV pilots as well.

That's kinda creepy, if accurate.

I'd prefer to be put under the microscope for 2 days at the campus than try to stage the perfect "testing room" background in my private living space.

New interviewers, fresh ideas. Best of luck to those who get the call.

Did you ever do the AAL interview? First stage is answering 3-5 questions that are asked to you by the computer, then recorded by your computers camera. What an odd experience.

That’s probably what future airplanes are going to do to you, so that’s a good gauge of future success...

I’ve heard from reliable sources that the online test is a 30 minute audio playback of two frequencies. At the appropriate time, the delta candidate needs to identify when someone transmits on guard, key the mic and say “You’re on GUARD!” The test is scored as to how many guard transmissions you identify and how long the cumulative response time is.

Snort!

Oddly enough, Toobin seemed to do just fine.

As the acceleration towards an ever accepting, ever opening society continues, that might just become part of the interview. Why not? It's a natural function, everyone does it, nobody was harmed, etc. etc.

(I'll remove the sacred unguents and candles from the man cave just in case though)
