Max pickup limit is only for WS, which you can't do as RES.
You are correct that PWA 23.N shows a RES on X day comes before OOBWS...were you legal for the trip? You can use the rules auditor to check for conflicts. Did you call scheduling and ask why you didn't get the trip?
With regard to GS and FULL, the FULL is really irrelevant, it's what the underlying day was....either it was XX day or on call day. You would only get PB day if the underlying day was an XX day...if the underlying day was an on call day, you get nothing.
Since your are already FULL (at the RES guarantee), the GS pay would go above RES guarantee, just like it would if you flew it on an XX day, so single pay above the RES guarantee.

GS on XX day, whether FULL or not, you get PB days.

You're not SUPPOSED to get PB days, but with all the new schedulers and high workload I’ve heard of a couple people getting PB days for GS over on call days when full. Still, that’s a glitch that shouldn’t happen so don’t ever count on it.

So you get a 3 day gs on your off days while on reserve... later in the month you had a 4 day reserve strech but now only have one because of PB days. So now, on your last day (only day) of reserve would they call you for a GS that goes starts on the reserve day but that goes into your days off? I guess they could just assing you a trip if you don't have golden days but that's quite unlikely.

Keep in mind, PB and PR days are actually X days that start at a time other then midnight. Depending on your PR end time vs. report time, you may think you have more “X days interrupted” than you actually do…
