Whops, I was extrapolating my 7ER experience/knowledge. Too late to edit my previous post. My bad.

No worries, that's what this place is for, as it's easy to get comfortable with what you know. A friend of a friend was a perpetual middle day dropper and just assumed he'd continue to be able to do the same when he bid up to the 7ER. He got a rude awaking and wasn't a happy camper after his first try was denied and he read the PWA.

Quick question regarding being "full" on reserve.
I never tried this strategy but thinking of picking up a bunch of white slips and yellow slips to get up to 72 hours/ ALV to get to being Full and not having to have to fly over Christmas and New Years. Is there any gotchas I should be made aware of before doing this? Thanks in advance
Am planning to calling the union about this but would like your guys' take on it first

Definitely make sure you bounce your plan off of what is physically possible in your category. My category has double digit overages in reserve coverage and only 8 trips in non-holiday open time for December right now. Trying to get full would be getting blood from stone.
Unfortunately, reserve coverage is well under for holiday days so we池e kinda hosed from all sides on holiday strategies.

Full on rsv
I知 full on rsv. I put in a yellow slip for a day trip On a full day. It went to an out of base white slip. I still below my max pick up. I thought I would get the trip. Am I not understanding the Pcs order or was a mistake made? Also I flew a single day green slip on my first full day. Trying to figure out the pay for that. No payback day or green slip pay on time card yet. Thanks

You are correct that PWA 23.N shows a RES on X day comes before OOBWS...were you legal for the trip? You can use the rules auditor to check for conflicts. Did you call scheduling and ask why you didn't get the trip?
With regard to GS and FULL, the FULL is really irrelevant, it's what the underlying day was....either it was XX day or on call day. You would only get PB day if the underlying day was an XX day...if the underlying day was an on call day, you get nothing.
Since your are already FULL (at the RES guarantee), the GS pay would go above RES guarantee, just like it would if you flew it on an XX day, so single pay above the RES guarantee.

Max pickup limit is only for WS, which you can't do as RES.

Thanks for the reply.
Rules auditor says I知 good for the trip. I called crew scheduling but gave up and sent them an email after 20mins on hold. I learn from reading other peoples post, so I will post what scheduling tells me. (No idea what the turn around time is for an email to scheduling)
