If you get back late and it goes into an X day (past carve out time) does that day’s pay go towards guarantee or above it?

Credit goes toward guarantee and Carve goes above (if in the carve window). You’ll get a PR or PB toward your next on call day.

Just adding to this that if the X-day got infringed due to only late operations, you only get 24 hours from release as PB/PR, not the 9+24 hours from something like a reroute or GS/QS/IA. PWA 23.S.14

Apologies for the repeat question as I know it’s been asked and answered somewhere on this forum before I just can’t find it.

First time getting the different type of reroute pay (RTB leg plus 4 hrs late domestic plus x day violated, think it’s L9?)

On my time card it shows ADJ RRPY up where the trips are for 15 ish hours and then halfway down the page near GS pay it says Reroute Pay: 15 ish hours, but that number is slightly different. Am I right that one of those is the garden variety RR pay and one is the L9 pay and they are additive? So total payout would be 30 something hours? TIA

You're right. The Reroute Pay down below by GS pay is for L8/L9 pay and is a separate calculation from the ADJ RRPY as one of the line items on your timecard.

Correct as mentioned below. You can grab the Rerouted+ app for your iPad off the App Store to calculate what both of those pays should be.

Also, L8/L9 “REROUTE PAY” is cumulative for the bid period if you get it on more than one rotation which makes it fun to verify.

On a RES QS RR Deadhead. QS <18 to report.
Tablet is up in the overhead (in conga line to depart)

RR yesterday. Originally was JFK-SAN, DH DTW, overnight DH JFK.

RR to DH SLC, overnight, DH JFK .

Getting in over 4 hours late compared to original schedule. But on a RES day.

They have to release 4+ hours late and touch a day off for 23L9 pay to kick in right?

Should just be 23L4 at 50% for the SAN-SLC and 100% for SLC-JFK right?

They already cut the QS pay from the 10:05 on the original rotation to 8:30 or so as flown. But they've left the 2:24 EDP Originally there intact.

Reserve pilots must have an X-day or regular off day interrupted to qualify for L9 pay, unfortunately.
