If it was awarded in error and later removed, you should look for any other flying that you would have otherwise been eligible for award during the period that the removed trip was on your schedule. As in, if you were awarded a GS in error and it sat on your schedule for 6 hours and was later removed for an error, meanwhile during that 6-hour period other GS went out junior to you that you could have picked up had the error GS NOT been on your schedule, you could be due pay for the missed trips.

Or, last LC day into X days, pickup a 3-day QS. First day pays at minimum ADG above guarantee if it's "D" coded (just like an "F" coded GS), afterwards it's like a GS with PB from the interrupted X-days.
In other words, to fly on a LC day for pay above guarantee vs towards guarantee, with some potential additional benefits.
It would however be very rare for a 1-day QS to be feasible in the middle of a block of LC days since it implies operating legs requiring 10 hours of rest prior to report. But QS are not inclusive to <8 hours to report like 23M7 is. A QS could conceptually be offered with >10 hours to report. Last LC day <8 hours to report DH-only duty period though? Definitely a thing.

For example, today there was a QS for a SLC-PHL turn with a DH on the back end. Pays 9:16 (above reserve guarantee) with 1.08 EDP. Not too bad for 1 day of work where you might have been on SC instead.

What they said above, all the same reasons you'd GS with the 1st day on LC.
For example, today there was a QS for a SLC-PHL turn with a DH on the back end. Pays 9:16 (above reserve guarantee) with 1.08 EDP. Not too bad for 1 day of work where you might have been on SC instead.

I picked up a QS <18 on a LC day.
JFK-SAN
DH SAN-DTW
Layover
DH JFK.
Plan was DDH JFK. Long day but 13+ hours pay (10ish block, 3 is EDP)
Get a nonsensical reroute. Was going to make scheduled DH. We were arriving on time.
Now
DH SLC
layover
DH JFK
Now 10 hours pay vs 13.
Tried to DDH. IVR denied backside deviate.. CREW ASSIST "you are working tomorrow you have to talk to a scheduler"
By the time the scheduler got on phone, JFK had pushed.
