Quick Question:

On reserve and coming off of a partial payback day, they assigned me something less than 12 hours from end of partial. The scheduler is telling me they only need to give me 10 hours free from duty and then can assign a trip. Is this correct?

”Non Fly Day: defined PWA 23.A.30 “…a day or 24-hour period”…this means 30hrs of rest as well as PB/PR days.

Rotation: PWA 23.S.2.a.5 note 1

Short Call: PWA 23.S.2.c.3 note 1

If it was on your schedule at least 12 hours prior to the end of your PR, it could have a report as early as 10 hours after the end of the PR. And they don't have to call you.

See DWC Cap's references above.

How do you see if rest has been put on your schedule? I've seen other guy's miCrew show rest periods but mine doesn't. Icrew only shows an R on some days but does give any times.

Click on My Schedule. Then click OK when viewing your schedule. That takes you to a new menu. There you can click on "Display Reserve Rest Period Info"

That will show all your rest periods for the bid period regardless if reg or res.

Micrew is *not* an official source of schedule info.

But to answer your question, you have to toggle it on.

MiCrew > Hamburger (3 lines in upper left) > Settings > Calendar > Hide Rest Activities (toggle it off)

But you can see official rest times in iCrew, you just aren’t looking in the right spot.

iCrew > Schedules > Current Schedule > OK (bottom right) > Display Reserve Rest Period Info

I fluctuate regularly between a line and reserve.
I had a line in March and reserve in April.
Had a trip that started the last day of the March bid period and spilled over a few days into April.
The March day was worth 7 hours of pay on my timecard.
Due to a max flight time issue, the company elected to removed me from the March day of my trip and DH me to the trip in April. Hence my March schedule is showing off the day of the 7 hour credit, and they removed it on my March timecard, and added it to the value of the trip which will be paid out on my April timecard. However being on reserve in April, I'm capped at 72 hours and in all likelihood won't come near that. Essentially now that 7 hours from March is disappearing into that April reserve monthly guarantee.
Shouldn't the 7 hours be paid out for March? Or even if it showed up as Additional Pay in April. However I know that spill trips are a separate animal.
Aside from a message to Pilot Assist (in the queue for several days), what next?
Where should I be looking PWA-wise?

Thanks

RC

Credit always pays on the last day of a pairing, so it makes sense that those 7 hours would go from March to April. That's why spilling from REG to RES is usually crappy, because the spill credit typically goes towards guarantee. You're volunteering to work for free on LC days.

Yep, and why many pilots put “avoid trips if carry out >0” on their bid.

Also, for clarity to the OP/lurkers, you are not “capped at 72” (assuming that’s Reserve Guarantee). You can be flown past “Res Guar” up to ALV + 15 (which is typically Res Guar +17), so long as you have even 0:01 left on your “Res Guar” on your time card. Or, you can choose to YS up to ALV+15. “FULL” is only an internal administrative label for CS, that does NOT need to be on your schedule. When “Res Guar =0:00”, you are done - zero obligation to the company for anything further. Not even to tell them they assigned you illegally.
