A PB day is the exact same as an X day. A PR day is just an X day that ends at a time other than midnight. The rules for coming off a non-fly day apply to coming off a PB or a PR day, same as an X day (assuming there's a 24 hour period off preceding the end of the PB/PR day).

Quick Slips on reserve. Am I interpreting the memo correctly, if you fly a QS on regular on-call reserve days, the trip is pay/ no credit on top of guarantee?

The interpretation is simple. Same as a GS.

So, if it would have paid pay/no credit as a GS, it will do the same as a QS.

However I'd expect QS on LC days to be few and far between unless pre-posted or other rest is involved, since QS via 23M7 can't happen outside 8 hours to report (need 10 hours of rest.)

Yes. Just to make sure people are aware though that a RES on LC can get a QS with less than 10 hours to report if the first duty period is DH-only, thus not an FDP. As you mentioned, the other common situation is if someone is going into a golden X day and gets auto-rested at 0600, they can start an FDP that reports at 1600 or later, even with less than 10 hours notice since they'd have legal rest.

Assignment coming off non fly day”Non Fly Day: defined PWA 23.A.30 “…a day or 24-hour period”…this means 30hrs of rest as well as PB/PR days.

Rotation: PWA 23.S.2.a.5 note 1

Short Call: PWA 23.S.2.c.3 note 1

Are reserves due anything for violations of the “soonest deadhead back to base” bit of the PWA? I’m already on the trip but it looks like there’s a double DH with a legal layover that would get me back sooner. I’d prefer to just sleep in and take the longer layover if I’d be due pay, but if not I guess the play would be to call and have them change it and collect the RR pay?

Was the rotation built this way? Or are you already on a reroute?

It’s a broken trip, but when constructed it was built this way. It’s got a 17 hr layover to end the trip with a DH home but there’s multiple options to double DH home sooner…..

You can submit a Crew Assist Case when the rotation is over. The remedy in that situation would be 2.0 pay no credit.

On reserve and rerouted on day 3 of 4 day trip. The reroute pay for the new block hours looks right to me. But I’ve been told in the cockpit that we’re also due reroute pay rules for the credit of the trip as well since it was the last leg/day of the trip that was rerouted. I have a bunch of EDP credit. Does that pay as scheduled or is that supposed to have the reroute rules applied as well?
