As has been discussed I think UA is in the "lag" part when it comes to reserve rules. Which is obviously just a little more important than crew meals.

If I’m not mistaken UAL gave up min crew day pay during their BK but kept their crew meals. We gave up crew meals during BK but kept min crew day pay. I’m not saying it was one-for-one but it was definitely part of the package.
I remember the crew meals we had, and how everyone complained about them. Rightfully so. Think of the sandwiches we get from the fridge in the pilot lounges, only much worse.
If we’re shooting for crew meals in C19 (20,21,22…) I hope they’re pretty far down on the list of asks.
EDIT: and for the perpetually angry, no - this doesn’t mean a ‘what are you willing to give up for that’ opportunity

Ask and you shall receive! By 2022 we could code iCrew to give you a selection under Personnel…Preferences…Dead Head…choose Reserve/Line…Show Schedule…click your rotation…choose which leg…choose duty position…enter your record locator…click on a picture of the bus to confirm you are not a robot…select Y or N and then CONFIRM each selection for Biscoff and Cheezits.

I also wonder what they would look like with monthly vacancy awards with 90 day conversion windows. FC deadheads or 150% pay for middle seat DH. And crew meal policy that actually works? When was the last time you flew 3 legs with 50 min turns and plane swaps at each turn and staring at 50 people ahead of you in line at McDonald’s?
Yes, their reserve system is terrible. But they literally kill us in almost every other QoL aspect. Oh, they get actual nice cars for their trans to/from hotel. Like town cars and Yukon’s. Skyhop is great! What day does the 4th floor get to go hone for the holidays this year?

So we get 0 credit on a 24+ hour layover? So if we fly 2:30 during a two day trip we get paid 2:30?
I know I took the wind out of your sails with the preemptive ‘what are you willing to give up for that’ disclaimer but you’re arguing semantics.
We have an ADG with min day protections built in. We don’t have crew meals. I know which one I would choose during bankruptcy.
