Holiday Pay: Adjust to 200% like AA. This past Thanksgiving you had to be SENIOR to work a trip over Thanksgiving at AA
Reroute: 200% for any reroute
A good start but still Unsat with the reserve GS poison pill. Take that out, add your list, throw in a few percent DC, and some increases to vacation and you’re finally in the ballpark at least.

At least the jacket does keep you insulated in the 35-55 degree temperature range. That hat does nothing.

A company jacket like a North Face shell would be nice.

I'll wear the horse blanket until the union says otherwise.

I don't think the public cares one iota about that hat. They want two pilots to walk up to their gate that don't look like slobs.
Horse Blanket 😂😂.

Why side with the company on this? It's a massive concession.
Every single line holder is flying a full schedule of crappy trips and yet we still see endless GS pickups. You think reserves will be different? I don’t.

IF this is real, it's just throwing a bit of money at us to take work rule concessions. Also there are probably more concessions when you look at the entirety of the deal. Once again, IF this is even real. Take it all with a grain of salt until we see actual language in a TA.

I don’t think it will be any different either, you’re right. When I was a new hire I didn’t know much about green slips while flying reserve and thought they were double pay and threw my name in the hat for greenslips on reserve making that assumption. I like the payback day thing of course now if on reserve but in the end I avoid being on reserve anyway. In fact I am staying away from greenslips right now and just focusing on QOL.

I doubted it was real but just read the comments from one of the MEC chairman candidates. He states the companies current table position is 1.38 billion which would fit reasonably well with the posted rumor if their were also some vacation and DC improvements. It’s close to the 1.5 billion I now expect.

THIS...

As an ULCC pilot i can attest that you all are the boogeyman for our management. The only reason our founder and chairman of the BOD is negotiating directly with our MEC is because pilots are leaving for the big 4 in droves. And yes you read that correctly, our largest shareholder and chairman of the BOD is flying his private jet to meet with our Union chairman (ALPA's version of an MEC).

This no pb day thing if allowed would be disastrous for many who use reserve green slips to work less and get paid more. There’s no way in hell I’d work a full month of reserve credit AND pick up more flying on top of that. Res and reg green slips are not the same and I’d be a single issue no vote if they tried to make them look alike. The life of a res pilot would be miserable and crew resources would continue to min run the operation. The pb day is one of the few tools we have to make it hurt when we run hot and needs to stay that way to discourage further staffing blunders. Don’t go trying to solve their manning problems for them.

If GS paid 2x on x-days without having to actually fly to the res GS trigger, I think I could support that. However, if you have to fly to the GS trigger on your res days in order to get paid 2x with no PB days, NO WAY!
