What if DL picks up the 767-400s from UA (or more likely if from its leasing companies … not sure if they are owned by UA or not) … 16 gently used airframes on an orphaned fleet type … I’d bet RA would have already made that deal … EB not so much.

I’ll make the unlikely black sheep prediction: UA 767-400s plus the Qantas 717s makes DL’s biggest growth fleets of 2025 the 767-400 and 717.

Both UAL and AA are single-manufacturer widebody airlines. Why so much consternation about us trending in the same direction?

Because it’s not a 787. I don’t know what’s the hard on that airplane. Same as the 777..,meh, give me a tray table any day!

UA has a larger WB fleet, that’s not in dispute, but we do more than most think.
