Why would the company intentionally make the upcoming summer disaster be worse than it already will be? I can’t imagine they’ll do that ‘just to see.’

The timing of this thread just made me wonder whether it was a good faith question; were you ignorant of the NLT implementation or just preparing ammunition for why we all should have voted no… or are you merely incredibly optimistic.

Personally, I think the company will wait until the bitter end to implement the best stuff, but would love to be pleasantly surprised. The reroute stuff is certainly nice to see.

so just to follow up, the article on DeltaNet that explains the implementation schedule says the 2023 parking benefit will be paid out as a special payment in January 2024. that begs the question, what did you really get?

I’ve been applying the soft pay provisions to my rotations the last 2 months, and nearly ALL of them pay significantly more $$. And most of them have MDG that will count towards the LCW meaning I have to work LESS.

I don’t care when they’re implemented. Fact is, they’re coming…..and now codified in the PWA.

And don’t tell me the rotations will change so they don’t have to pay. We don’t have staffing for it. And if we do? GREAT!!! No more 10+ hour FDPs and 30hr layovers!

It doesn't take much for the EDP to stack up. A long duty day or two in a 4 day quickly pays an extra 4 hours, making that 21 hour rotation pay 25.

My guess is that the "ugly" rotations, if they still exist, will get snapped up by those that want the $$$ and go uber senior.

Sure, but without this TA he/she would be getting a poke in the eye with nothing to show. Now at least you get something for it, and if it costs enough, long term we will see behavior change. If it doesn’t change, we get more for the problem that would have happened anyways!

I’m new. But also,

Pretty optimistic.

I understand the April package is not limited by the new rules.

But let’s see what happens.
