Widget Seniority Accuracy

I've never seen it, but what does widget seniority even give you that you can't already get on the DALPA page anyway?

It's laid out very nicely and has a ton of built in analyses, including seniority progression, AE analysis, "when can I upgrade, " etc... Of course, you could do all those calculations yourself using the same assumptions Curly does. But it's very well done.

Not at all defending cutting off EasyBid, nor saying Curly doesn’t have some special deal. Just that it’s not apples to apples .

People will take any opportunity to hate on Curly. He wasn't a saint, was very polarizing and definitely spoke his mind.
His retirement picture in the Atlanta pilot lounge was filled front and back, and an additional foamboard as well, with nothing but compliments and thanks for everything he did for the pilot group over the years. Probably 500 signatures.
Subjectively I think people's opinions on him are driven primarily by where they were hired, where they are based, and more recently, who they have flown with that likes grinding axes. Objectively he helped bring the pilot group and Delta as a whole to where we are now. If that makes him a bad guy...

When I bid WB B, I entered the category at 90%. Three years laters I was 95%. When I bid my current seat I barely got in at 75%, but a year laters I was around 30%. It's alll a crapshoot, but I guess I can see the appeal of an quick/easy method to dream, especially if it's a nominal fee.

For many, I don't think it's a hate on him personally (though I get some do dislike him). I've had some great offline conversations with Curly, he's a nice guy and seems to truly love helping people. It's more the the double standard of killing other things that were helpful to the pilot group, but letting him continue.

He disdained line pilots, thought we were too stupid to make the right choices, and took pride in his attempts to gaslight and mislead us during the TA1 era.
He also hated FNWA pilots with a passion, as individuals, every one of them.
So yes, to the extent he provided lessons on the dangers of top-down unionism "what not to do," he left his mark as a bad guy.
Exactly what do you think is role was in bringing Delta "to where [they] are now?" He was a mid-level union functionary and political hack. Other than leaking to Delta, he had zero role in any managment decisions.
And I won't even get into the role he played shilling for two paycuts and a raft of work rule concessions during bankruptcy, and don't forget the pension giveaway.

Totally different situations. EasyBid/Easy swap and iCrewMax both had tunnels into the Delta servers, which would require significant cyber security certifications. Curly simply gets an Excel spreadsheet copy of the monthly seniority list, and a copy of the AE results. His ‘access’ involves either an email from a bro, or a non-retiree login to download two files. And again, this is a retired DL pilot, who used to have access to the same info at will.
Not at all defending cutting off EasyBid, nor saying Curly doesn’t have some special deal. Just that it’s not apples to apples .

There is no reason Easy Bid, Easy Swap and iCrewmax were throttled other than company hatred. Software access licenses and access agreements are available and many many fortune 100 companies use thrid parties with licensing and security arrangements. It's nothing new.
The real question I have here is whether or not our SL is protected company information. If so, then Curly getting it from a bro means the bro violated our company IT policies. I don't know the answer to that question about whether the SL is protected Delta information or not. My guess is there is some control on it as the company does not offer it publicly and it's only available to those with a valid Deltanet login and permissions to access the Flight Operations tab.
