I like those, especially the downtown wording for hotels. Case in point, London. We have some 19 hour layovers and getting all the way into London proper and back is ridiculous for those. Richmond is a great little town close the airport which has everything we need for a short layover and more. You can even have a pint at the Ted Lasso pub. Plus a quick train connection if someone really wanted to go downtown for those.

WN topped out rate for NB captain is 435 an hour when their contract ends. They are getting that for flying a 737-7 with 140 pax. I think they negotiated ER rates plus a %.

So I expect more than that across the entire fleet

but schedule rules and QOL are much more of a priority for most here Inwould think

Get senior, stay senior. Control your schedule.

If you were hired after 2021 and are a captain, then you are the problem, not the contract. Seniority matters. Upgrade times might have hit less than a year, but becoming a senior captain still requires a lot of seniority on the master list which only happens over decades.

The precedent for this exists at American, though they don't have EDP.

Then drop trips. Even if you can't PD, swap away days. More pay AND credit for CQ and vacation means more time off. More pay means you can fly fewer days. There's your time off.

Obviously this is after pay raises and actual contract stuff. And I know it shouldn’t be needed to negotiate, but I don’t see it happening organically and it’s something I’d legitimately want. I put this in the employee survey too.
zed business or premium on other airlines like UA HA JB will be great this going to benefits all employees not just Pilots. Union has it in their agenda but low priority other worker groups should ask for it too
