Agreed I did mention it’s going to benefit all not just us so other groups ask for it too not just us and we don’t need to waste our resources

Denver and St. Louis both have better areas than the "downtown hub" location. Denver, you could look anywhere in the Tech Center, and St. Louis, look out at Creve Coeur.

I would just argue that we should negotiate more exception hotels. I think changing the downtown language is risky. The last thing we want is the company putting us in the middle of nowhere without our input.

Nowhere do I see any language change to suggest that we would relinquish control or give away any input to hotel selection.

I could see a Southwest solution. I believe their MEC gets a pool of money from the company and chooses the hotels/discounts as they see fit. It would require more legwork by the union so the company would need to be willing to give up something for it.

Is that why they always seem to be at an airport DoubleTree? No thanks!

Could be they like that hotel?

If it's not a great hotel, they're pot of money is too small. We'd obviously be starting with whatever the current markets cost plus whatever we negotiate.
