probably a blend of sick call usage and PWA voting record. Assuming Sailingfun hasn’t figured out who you are here and forwarded it to the company.

some sarcasm, some not.

2 phones?! What?! This sounds like fringe deal making… you are trying to prevent others from accessing IAs and tying up call capacity. What’s next 3 phones, 4?

I make this post in jest. I am not serious but given the angst on the internet about this I thought I’d post before somebody does with a serious accusation. We all need to CTFD. Not specifically APC but some of the other socials are getting pretty bad about it.

He said the exact same thing to us in the ATL lounge a few weeks ago. It’s not getting followed at all and people are raking in the M7 well above WS limit.

That will suck for them when/if they correct the 23M7 pay and all that money gets taken away from them 😬

I haven’t gotten an IA yet so I’m obviously not doing a good enough job.

Correct me then. My understanding is we are agency shop and if article 8 charges are successful, you are kicked out of the union and the company must terminate you.

Being a member of the union is optional. Paying dues or a “service charge” (if a non-member) is not.

(See PWA Section 27)

Just updated to Arcos + yesterday and got it working. Had a GS in for a 1 day today. A trip went out on IA this morning that I was not notified for.
Are people using crew assist to deal with this, or going straight to STS?

Are you over ALV or on golden X days? Then no IA calls ever.

I am not getting calls but I already did A#1 so in theory they should call everyone before me.

FWIW, Im in a well manned category. 29/30 days are still blue for January after the 0700/20th PCS run.

Under and no. Senior in category.
I got 3 IA calls this morning. 2 Arcos callouts. However the trip in question went out as a GS and I was in no way notified of it.

I’m confused. You say it went out as an IA, but then that it also went out as a GS too?

If a rotation went out as a GS and you didn’t get a call then 99% chance the error is on your end. Common issues:

- there is an error on your slip entry that in some way excluded you from that trip
- you entered your slip after the trip coverage report was run
- you were in some way not legal for the rotation, or legality was affected by a sick call that moved you to the bottom of the list
- your ARCOS app isn’t set up correctly, or your phone provider in some way blocked the call. You can use the app to make a test call to make sure it gets through.
