The company paid the full amount for years, and only recently tried to reverse its own precedent. Same with its handling of missed white slips. Both moves have RG’s fingerprints all over them.

This should be a slam dunk win for us in front of an arbitrator, but we all know how that usually goes.

Yeah that's ridiculous.

If they're going to only award part of the WS credit, then that rotation needs to be broken up into separate pieces and run IAW 23L4 notes 3 and 4.

The problem is that the company isn't paying the appropriate pilot immediately. In the case of missed slips they tell you to submit a crew assist case and then sit on them for months. In the case of 23M7 they aren't immediately identifying the harmed pilot and will do so later (usually when called out on it). At the time the missed or skipped pilot has the pick up limit but then the company waits until they are nearly full and only pays them up to the max pick up limit. They want to have their cake and it too.

Ironically, this behavior is actual racketeering. How about that.

So is there any guidance on these partial payments? I can't find any. Back to my original question. Dart? Something else? Multiple partials now and getting them removed is a PITA.

Takes one to know one, apparently.

the most confounding aspect of this entire flight ops management structure is their perplexing lack of basic leadership principles, to include self-awareness and accountability. These people could not lead a one-truck convoy.

yet the narcissist, egomaniac, [mod edit] CEO entrusts them with his legacy, which is in a graveyard spin.

Mentorship is non-existent at Delta. What a strange, cutthroat, toxic management culture.

I won't have the possibility of 23M7 or pick up for the rest of the month because of their mistake. What is the proper recourse? I can't get ahold of scheduling because we are in a continuous IROP and the robo message says don't bother us.
So I just had a similar issue. Received 12 hrs and change from a 5 day 23m7. But here is the twist…. It was during the green slip step of coverage. So I was the correct pilot, but paid incorrectly (should be full pay no credit). Called crew scheds and they fixed it while I was on the phone.

The scary / eye opening part of this is, I only knew it was the GS step because I was actually considering taking it. (My 2 fishing buddies (sons) are still sleeping when we should be 20 miles offshore!)

It also would have filled my credit limit preventing pick up.

There was also a second GS on the same ARCOS call that they gave the 23m7 to someone else. Another 5 day. I know people get ****ed because I obviously could not fly both, but under current procedures I should be paid that one too correct? I put a crew assist in for that one because I didn’t want to correct a very cooperative scheduler not knowing for sure the right answer.
