Agree with all that except care for family members. If your kid is home sick, and both parents work, someone has to miss work. It’s not fair to put it on our spouses all the time. Many states have identified this, passed laws requiring family care sick leave, and the company is dragging its feet through the courts.

Anything those bases get, we all get. Put it in the PWA and make everyone share its cost equally for equal benefit.

ALV has been 77ish hours most months I have vacation. But I can't plan a vacation around a weekend unless it's my primary or vacation weeks on both sides. I usually just do RES-days off ELSE START NEXT then try it again for line, and then APD if all else fails, but I would like vacation weeks to run Wed-Tuesday or Thurs-Wed

That’s why we need a contractual provision that anything any state we have a domicile in gets, we all get. The vast majority of people in states that pass those laws get a tiny tiny fraction of the sick allotment we do. Ours is a completely different system by design. To give some bases 270 hours for relatives while others get none isn’t ok since we all negotiated and paid for that cost item.

That may be, but that also doesn't mean that we shouldn't have a PWA provision that if one base gets a labor protection, we all get the benefit of it. I agree with gloopy, and put that very thing on my survey.

Maybe we redistribute state taxes too. Tennessee and Florida residents that get this and are based in Georgia can start subsidizing the income taxes that made it possible. NYC, DTW, MSP, LAX and SEA are doing the heavy lifting so they should collect a fee.
