No?
This boils down to a manchild getting his feelings hurt because he was uninvited to the cool kids club after he told his media friends about what was being discussed at the cool kids table.
The grade school equivalent of your girlfriend dumping you and then you telling everyone you didn’t actually like her anyway.
It’s no surprise that he’s found plenty of support from the opposite side of the political aisle and other former cool kids who were similarly disinvited from the group.

Oh. Had Iran’s nuclear aspirations and ballistic capabilities been voluntarily relinquished since then?
No?

And when an actual decorated veteran special operator/spook dares to speak out, the Koolaid drinking, low emotional IQ cult members try to relate it to some popularity contest.

Interesting to note that President Ford, via Executive Action 11905 made political assassinations illegal (further strengthened by Carter).
Still on the books.
We now call these "decapitation strikes." You say potato, I say potatoe (VP Dan Quayle preferred spelling. Good example of how Presidents always choose a VP who is dumber than themselves, but G. H.W. Bush overshot the mark).
They don't actually work, but if you read the book "Rise and Kill First" by Ronen Bergman it's the preferred method of statecraft by our greatest and most noble ally.
Always wondered why US Presidents would line up behind this.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander and all that. Better to trade pawns than risk kings.

It is a strawman. No one is arguing what you are claiming.
The point is the government of Iran has a particular bent and history on killing westerners, and specifically Americans. They fund all manner of proxies (many of which have been destroyed or decimated, like Syria, Hamas, and to a lesser extent Hezbollah). But the Houthi’s remain for now.
It is the state actors we are dealing with, not individuals of a particular religion or sect who may misbehave.
Now, you can still believe this intervention is a bad idea, and that’s fine. But it’s really too early to tell, and way too early to be claiming short term effects of it are the new norm (like oil prices). Time will tell.

I suggest you go back read a couple pages ago.

Joe is fair game, just like anyone else in the public and serving in the public. Matters not he's a gold star husband. He made the choice to be public. His prior statements on Iran are well known and documented. Just go look up and read/watch what I posted.
Yes, he is under FBI and DNI investigation for leaks. Presumably to Tucker Carlson. More to follow on that.
I won't further this discussion other than to debate the merits or detriments to the ongoing operations in the ME (which as a disclaimer I fully support).

Oh, and I won’t further discuss this other than debating how bad of a decision it was to get involved in another hot war in the ME totally unprepared for the consequences.
So hard to believe that Lindsey Graham would be against saving soldier lives & billions of $$$.
Why are we fighting for our enemy, Syria, by staying & killing ISIS for them, Russia, Iran & other locals? Time to focus on our Country & bring our youth back home where they belong!

Now that Obama's poll numbers are in tailspin - watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran.
He is desperate.

You're referring to the manchild-in-chief, right? The one who literally can't emotionally handle any criticism and is so desperate to have people like him? The one that buys and makes everyone wear the same average shoes that he thinks it's fancy whether they fit or not.

Iran’s regime being a major threat was about as non-partisan an issue there is. The desire to permanently remove that threat was universally held by both sides. That is, until that one big bad mean man actually decided to do something about it & excluded the leaker with media buddies from his plans. Now it’s a problem, and the guy who was loathed by every leftist alive is all of a sudden a hero.

This is me selfishly inserting my plea that this thread ends so it doesn't appear when I open this site anymore.
That's it. Just that.
Carry on.
