Leveling premium results is less money going to the pilot group. Most will be senior one day.

I realize that many pilots here think that they are entitled to everything day one but that's not how the industry works.

How long have you been at Delta? How old were you when you were hired?
Stop being pedantic and condescending.

If you must know, I’ve solidly maxed out the pay scale, after 20 years active duty military service. I’ll let you do the math, since you really only wanted to try to use that to demean and dismiss.

APC reminds me of Sayer's Law.

"In any dispute, the intensity of feeling is inversely proportional to the value of the issues at stake."

The better quote is "Academic politics is the most vicious and bitter form of politics, because the stakes are so low."

Narcissism of small differences (I'm as guilty as most)

“Me, me, me” at the expense of your fellow pilot.

There’s no skipping. It’s natural seniority progression whether you like it or not.

Ah, now you’re starting to get it. There’s some irony here, isn’t there?

This point was being made at the expense of the guy who was out on leave for a decade, but calling for there to be no leveling at all, all while pulling out the “so many entitled pilots” and “how long have you been at Delta?” cards.

FWIW, I don’t actually desire that new contract language.

But maybe step out of the pulpit on the topic of entitlement if you’ve not worked a single day for the company in a decade but have reaped and will continue to reap the benefits of the job.

I’m assuming they can, but I’ve never once seen scheduling remove the SS tag once applied.

So that person is getting the same pay and days off then??

I worked harder on my 10 month involuntary deployment than my 10 years here.

Not sure how this is relevant to the conversation.

Petition congress for a change to federal law. And you and your family are welcome for my service.

You said those people get all the same benefits.

That is not true at all
